Downtown Montgomery - Alabama's largerst pyro music spectacular Bama’s Big Bang, to be held on Saturday, May 19. The fireworks spectacular will follow the concert. Bama's Big Bang is presented by Creek Casinos and Jubilee CityFest, Inc.

During the festival weekend, family favorites such as KidsFest will be held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center. Jubilee's BrewFest and BBQ Cook-Off will be held Friday May 18, 2012 underneath the trainshed. The ever popular Montgomery Symphony Orchestra’s concert will still be held Memorial Day Weekend on Friday May 25, 2012. At Union Fire Stations 1 & 3, 5171 Hwy 50, Dadeville. Breakfast of Ham or Sausage Biscuit and a drink will be served for $4.00 Donation from 6am until we run out of food. Arly Day Festival is a family, friendly, small town festival. Sponsored by the Arley Women's Club Inc. The festival is May 19th, starting with a parade that lines up at 8:30 am, ending at Meek Elementary School. Watch the cars line up for our annual car show and then enjoy the games, vendors food, bake sale and entertainment on the school campus. U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 8-12 (Lake Martin-Tallapoosa River-Auburn University) want to let the Lake Martin community know that safe boating is very important to us. During the week of the 19th, the USCG Auxiliary 8-12 will be on the water or at Still Waters Marina, making sure that you are safe as you enjoy the begining of Summer. Make sure you are wearing your personal flotation device when operating a PWC or vessel. Make sure to watch out for others. And most importantly, do NOT drink and operate a vessel. Contact: Allison Cochran (U.S. Forest Service) Phone: 205-489-5111 Operation Dry Water is a national weekend of Boating Under the Influence (BUI) detection and enforcement aimed at reducing the number of alcohol and drug-related accidents and fatalities and fostering a stronger and more visible deterrent to alcohol and drug use on the water. Operation Dry Water is held the last weekend in June prior to the Fourth of July holiday. In 2010, marine law enforcement organizations from all 50 states participated and contacted 66,472 boaters and issued 11,693 warnings and citations.
