But from the electoral map I see just about all the counties have reported except those in and around Atlanta. The state map is a sea of red counties with a sprinkling of blue...and that one closely packed pocket of counties around Atlanta not yet turned red or blue. I am sure those locales will ensure the race comes out the way they want it to, no matter what it takes.

It would have been great had a Republican won, but really - did you honestly think Hershel Walker had a shot? As a rational adult, would you really think he should have a seat on Capitol Hill? I don't like seeing the Democrats having a majority any more than you do, but is Walker seriously the best candidate Republicans could come up with?

Was not a comment on the quality of candidates (both flawed in my opinion, but for different reasons), but on the Georgia demographics and voting patterns. I for sure would prefer that Walker have won, as it would put the Senate back into a condition where a Manchin alone could stop a stupid bill being considered under reconcilliation.

Disappointing results but not surprising. Look at the list of incumbents that lost....it is very short. I think when you consider the circumstances it was remarkably close. Novice, first time candidate outspent by 2 to 1. Kemp's turnout machine was not as effective and could not overcome the votes in Atlanta, Athens and Albany. And once again the masses in SE Cobb living in apartments outvoted the rest of the county.

I just feel like if the GOP doesn't find better candidates, we're going to be sunk. And the kiss of Trump these days looks like the kiss of death. The Black community seems like it is doing a better job getting out the vote. I'm glad I don't live in Georgia.

Just remember, GA has a GOP Governor, Lt. Gov, SOS, control of the legislature and the vast majority of counties are red. No doubt Walker was not a good candidate and that is on the state GOP and the primary voters for selecting him. I think we make the mistake of thinking a black candidate will attract more black votes than they will lose white suburban voters and that is simply not the case. Trump may have endorsed Walker but he didn't vote for him....we did. Like I also said, the power of incumbency is pretty amazing. I think Ossoff is up in 2024 and hopefully we will do a better job in selecting a candidate that will get the voters to the polls. Sure didn't happen this time and the numbers in the red counties were way down (700K less than in November) compared to what Kemp and other state-wide GOP candidates got.

Yep...they found some votes in Atlanta to elect Warnock over Walker... 100,000 more votes for Warnock. Sounds like another stolen election. Where is Martini to lay out the obvious conspiracy to steal another one?
It is absolutely pathetic that the Right would offer such a flawed candidate. Walker was strictly a race card who beat his girlfriends, paid for abortions, lived in Texas, and preferred vampires over a werewolf. During the campaign he kept admitting he had additional children. What a great resume enhancer for the Right...an absentee father.
The best I read against Warnock on the Forum was he ran over his wife's toe and evicted some tenants over $28. Trump's selection or an endorsement of a candidate is the Dem best's hope for winning going forward.
We read constantly that we need to replace all members of Congress. We read that the bad ones on both sides should be replaced. Yet, the Right will nominate candidates like Walker who, had he won, would offer nothing for the people of Geogia or the Country as a US Senator. Come on folks on the Right...you can do better than Walker and Tuberville. Imagine a Senate with 50 members who were clones of Walker and Tuberville? The Right used to send candidates who were well respected and capable of leading the country.

Sadly all the things you said about Walker - the same or worse have come from the actions and mouths of demonrats - and its a resume enhancment!

Goofy, you have a lot of nerve talking about the quality of candidates given what the Democrats put up. At least ours lose......y'all would vote for Mao if he had a (D) by his name. Both parties nominate bad candidates....look at Shrillery in 2016. She got beat by a deeply flawed candidate named Donald Trump with the media, academia, entertainment and 10 times more money on her side. But you voted for her which proves once again that leftists always accuse others of doing what they do.....absent any ability to recognize what hypocrites they are. Fetterman is a walking vegetable and makes Herschel sound like a genius. Brandon can't even read from a teleprompter much less compose an original thought that isn't argle, garble, arg. As the old saying goes, remove the plank from your eye before you worry about the sliver in others.
As for the runoff, no one, not me or anyone else mentioned fraud as the reason for Walker losing. I am sure there was fraud but it wasn't the difference. As I stated in plain English, which is something you obviously cannot comprehend, 700K fewer GOP voters showed up on the 6th versus November when all the other state-wide races went to GOP candidates. Maybe they too agreed that Walker was not an ideal candidate and unlike Democrats, decided not to vote for him. Warnock is a fake preacher, hates the country, evicts poor people for $28 and ran his wife over during a messy divorce. And you whine about our choices?!?!?
All special elections are a turnout game and the Dems have that perfected.....and yet they still whine like little b!tches about voter suppression.

Fetterman suffered a stroke and Walker is just dumb. Oz was a losing candidate but was the darling of those current and former PA Republicans. Lake lost and is crying fraud. Oh, I forgot she is a right winger...yell fraud when you lose. Maybe, the pillow guy bettween lawsuits can give her a pillow to cry on.
Nice to see that you have mellowed and paying for an abortion, having kids out of wedlock, and being an absentee father are now acceptable character flaws.

Hmmmm....calling a black guy dumb cause he doesn't talk like a white man seems pretty dang racist to me. Unlike you I watched the debate between Walker and Warnock and I can assure you he isn't dumb. He just talks like a kid that grew up in south Georgia. Besides, if being dumb makes you unsuitable for political office you'll have to explain Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, Liz Cheney, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, pretty much every RINO and Never Trumper, etc., etc., etc. Being dumb clearly does not mean anything. Walker is not articulate but he isn't dumb. He should not have run for the Senate on his first try. He was not a great candidate. But calling him dumb because of the way he talks is racism....I guess at least it's not the soft bigotry of low expectations and the mask is off with leftists like you.

"Hmmmm....calling a black guy dumb cause he doesn't talk like a white man seems pretty dang racist to me." Where did I post this? Since you voted for him, list 1 or more things he said that impressed you.

Saying a black man is dumb because of the way he speaks is clearly racist. You just have to live with that one. As for me, his policy ideas and political views.....the things that matter far more than his elocution.....comport with my own. That racist Democrats like you (who falsely claims to be an independent) disagree with his views is one thing....to call him dumb because he talks like a black man raised in south Georgia is racist. Deal with it.
