1) Thanks for the lession in common sense from a couple of folks. I don't have a desire for a tree to fall trough the roof. I have removed several trees from my lake place over the years for common sense reasons.

2) Not sure how much the trees grew in the past year. They were OK until this year, well actually this month.

3) My point was 23 years, no claims. No information on which trees they wanted removed, just a cancellation notice for April 24. Not good business practice in my opinion. Hopefully none of you have a policy with Baldwin Mutual or maybe you don' t like trees and it won't matter. Baldwin would probably come up with something else like maybe a bird could fly through the window, knock over a candle and start a fire. Maybe we need to get rid of the birds too? :) My post was simply to give a heads up to anyone that has trees on their lot and is insured by Baldwin Mutual. I was also interested if anyone knew of another carrier for seasonal homes. I have that information now. I am hitting my knees and I am thankfull that I never had to file a claim with Baldwin Mutual.
