There should be plenty of honey this year or more specially next year. We started a Beekeepers Asscociation in Tallappossa County and had 70 attend. We started with a 8 week course so the newbees could learn how to raise their bees and honey. I predict we have 200 new hives in our County as a result of everyones efforts. We could not have done it without the help of Shane Harris the County Extension Agent and the City of Dadeville donating space to hold our meetings. Next meeting is Thursday night at 6PM at he Rec Center in Dadeville. Membership is just $15 per year per couple.

   Thed gentleman selling honey at he Farmers Market on Saturday is William Futual of Goodwater. He is a good man with lots of beehives (approx 54 of them).

  My honey should be ready in 2 weeks and I keep it in stock at booth TG-1 of the Longleaf Antique Mall in Alexander City.
