By best I am sure you mean lowest. However, our property taxes, especially for large land owners is ridiculously low. They could be doubled or more and still be the lowest in the nation. Our "current use" laws allow people with tracts worth millions to be taxed hardly at all. We not only have the lowest taxes, we also have the most unfair taxes in the nation. The result is very poor services in many areas that affect us all adversely. JMO
