New to this forum and new to Lake Martin. In the past, we have not had to pay a much attention to the level as we do here. Our neighbor told us we need to have our boats out of the lake by Sept 2 or they were stuck on the lift until next year.

Is there a place to find this out or is my neighbor just going from past experience. Sept. 2 seems early!! What about our Labor Day bash???
