I misjudged AU earlier in the season. I will give you that they are a good team. The mistake I made was no greater than the one Barners made last year when they poked their chest out at a preseason poll. This particular post, however, doesn't promote Bama or insult AU. It is simply my point of view. Though it is not an unbiased point of view, it is less biased than that of AU fans. Since you are quick to point out my "lack of football knowledge", would you say that AU's poor performance last year had no effect on this year? Do you disagree that it is harder to gain positions in the polls than it is to maintain them? Do you think that a win is a win in a rivalry game? If so, then why does USC's tight victory matter? If AU deserves to be in the Orange, who deserves to be left out and why? See, these are questions that people who are outside of that fight ask themselves. Since you are so knowledgeable about football, why don't you answer them for us?
