Good news that the owners were found. Called Dadeville Humane Society and they had all info I needed to contact the owner.

Dog ran off after fireworks and the tag came off then. I had not even thought to call the Humane society until I saw their ad in the Dadeville paper. I was just glad to find the owner. Their dog had gone several miles to ultimately reach our house. We seemed to be dog central as he was the second stray that showed up on our doorstep that we were able to locate the owner.

The Humane Society said that they had PAGES of lost dogs after the fourth. So if anyone else has someone hanging around - give the Humane Society a call.
