After observing LTL from afar and his constant ability to rile up this board I will give you you guys some insight into the man. This is a scientific analysis based on scientific principles...ok, its just my opinion.
LTL is a bitter man. He is about 55 years old, a local and probably attends church every sunday where he keeps things stirred up as well. He was the oldest of 4 kids and was forced into being responsibile for siblings long before he was ready. After completeing his GED he went to work at the "lube rack" in Dadeville. He spent the next 30 years keeping the locals cars good and lubed and it paid off, in his mid thirties he got his dream home on the Lake. Bama Park became his kingdom and a fine single wide became his castle. Through the years he managed to add on to the trailer, you know, red wood deck, 55 gallon drum grill, and after dumping waste directly into the lake for nearly 20 years, in 2001 he was forced into installing a septic tank. D@mn the regulations he thought, why should I be forced to spend almost 2 months of my $1,000 bucks a month take home pay on a septic tank. Well you guessed it, he blamed the "out of towners" and "weekenders" for the new scrutiny placed on the way he and his "good old boys" chose to live. During the time since that bitter day he has even noticed that he works on more "out of towners" cars and their BMW's and Mercedes are much more difficult to work on so be grew even more bitter.
Ahh, the resentment grows, "why are these out of towners coming here" and "who do they think they are? " He rants to his buddies about the "weekenders" and thier "constant efforts to clean the lake" and "raise the water levels in winter". He is angry that the property taxes have increased to stupid to realize the equity he now has. When the lube rack got internet service his life really took a turn for the worst. In between oil changes and lubes, he spends time on the Lake Martin web site and is waging his own private battle against all things positive for the Lake. "A better Lake would mean more out of towners he thinks to himself". But he feels good afterall, he regularly grills deer staeks with the "dignitaries" of the local political lanscape (someone will have to explain what that word means to LTL) and he know they have NO intention of listening to a bunch of "whiny out of towners". None the less, he must continue to wage the war...
Be kind to LTL when you see him, he is having a difficult time right now...
(all opionons stated are just that ,opinions and based on a well trained imagination and study of human behavior...bet I am cloes though)
