Some people on this forum are blaming APCO for the water level on Lake Martin but (considering the extreme drought we are in right now) are you pointing the finger at the right person/people?? Please, remember, I am not defending APCO but.....My thought is: If you want to blame someone shouldn't it be Mother Nature?? Yes, the water level is a inconvenience, but there are so many more things to enjoy on the most beautiful lake in Alabama!!!! I was just standing on my front porch (the lake bed is almost mud) but the view and noise is ABSOUTELY AWESOME!!!! The moon is glittering off of what little water we do have and the crickets are chattering like there is no tomorrow. Just something for everyone to think about because things could be alot worse.
