Congratulations to Mav and our great team of HOBOS for the additional influence that no doubt has helped our cause. Its really hard to belive that a mere 2 months ago the organization did not exist. Nice work...

After reading the releases and studying the situation it appears to me that we will see slower lowering but we will still see lowering as we move forward. Any other opinions? 10% reductions in flow still mean 90% of the anticipated flow will continue thus lowering our levels.

The additional releases from Allatoona will not directly impact LM so it is the 10% reduction only that will provide any relief at all. If you were on the lake in 2001 we saw the water level by the end of August drop to around 484-485. With some rains in the early part of September we saw the lake rise to over 488 in september so maybe there is some hope for a late boating season.

What do you guys think will be the near term affect of the changes with no real changes in our rainfall from the past several weeks. Will we go to 475? Is there a way they can stop the loss at 480? Just curious...Of course we really need to support the HOBOS and push for a 485 winter pool prior to 2013...IMHO
