Subject:   Where to park a large boat?
Date:   6/10/2008 10:31:37 AM

I have a friend coming down to the lake this weekend. He is bringing a 30' cruiser. We are trying to find somewhere (someone) in the Blue Creek Marina area that we can tie this up on Saturday - Sunday (will be gone by around 2:00pm on Sunday).

I spoke with the Blue Creek Marina GM (nice guy) and he said that they cannot accomodate a 30' boat. 24' is the max that their slips can handle, and they would even have a hard time launching it.

We are on the 'small side' of the 49 bridge so we don't want to put it in on that side since we couldn't get it under the bridge.

Does anyone know who/where we can contact to accomodate a boat this size for 1 1/2 days?
