Now I think everyone has a better idea how much water it takes in a huge lake like this to raise it significantly... no more guessing. We've measured 8.75 inches in our rain gauge in west Little Kowaliga Creek since the rains began Saturday. I am seeing the lake up 1.4 feet as of this AM.
Who knows what Gustav will do? 23 years in the Caribbean and we've seen storms do just about anything.
