I recently was experiencing what appeared to by pollution in the lake (no need to go into details) and not knowing where to go made calls to Alex City Health dept (went unanswered). I then sent emails to Lake Watch and HOBO (which I admit I was not member) and within hours I had response from three different people. They went by my house, took photos, were aware of issues with treatment plants, made contact with City council, etc. I am hopeful the issues is now resolved but Kudos to Jesse Cunningham, John Glasier, Dick Bronson - these guys are clearly "stewards" of the lake. I am now a HOBO member of course.
