I have the 900 series so I am guessing it has the same settings. I set the sensitivity this time of the year on 20. highest setting, you will see a lot of detail on the graph and a lot of small arches that look like fish from the top down to 20 feet, ignore these the higher setting will be needed to see the stripe holding below 50 feet. A stripe arch will be longer and usually the swim bladder will show up a little by the change of color. the arch will usually be green around the edges with a orange or red in the middle.  the best way to find the stripe is to set your upper limit on 30 feet and your lower on 70 or 80 so the arches will be bigger. This also lets you ignore the water that a stripe will not be in this time of year. If your upper is the top of the water a stripe on the graph down at 50 feet might just look like a green line. most of the time if you draw one stripe suspended you will draw more right around him, if I only draw one, i usually dont stop and fish. If you see a big orange or red cloud, that is baitfish but most of that will be around 20 feet. good luck. One of the best ways to learn about what fish look like on the graph is to go around one of the green monster lights at night that you see fish around and turn your graph sensitivity down to around 16 and look at the size of the arches, but you have to take into account the depth and the amount of water the screen is showing to get an idea of the size. a four pound stripe ten feet deep will be the size of a 12 pound stripe at thirty feet, on your screen.
