I grew up fishing on that side of the lake but not really for stripers. We do catch a lot of fish during December in the Willow Point area all out in front of the golf course. As the water begins to warm the fish will begin to move back further into the surrounding creeks like parker, chapman, etc. and you can find them staging off of long points and where the bait is. I pulled a couple of 20 pound fish about a month ago up around needle eye. Try looking around Nero's point and in that area as the that is really a place with a lot of changes in structure as well as some good deep water. With that being said, you are not too far from some very good fishing in the summer months! During the summer you can quite often find fish at or around the Kowaliga bridge as well as some of the long points that lead out into the creek channel before you get to it. I am sorry I am not much help on this end of the lake but I do think that there are stripers down there and you may be at an advantage since there are not many people that I know of that fish for them on that side of the lake it is just like anywhere else and takes time to learn what they like to do in that area at different times of the year.
