Several weeks ago I posted a request for information as to how to introduce my 5 and 3 year old grandchildren to the experience of fishing as I had no expertise in this area.

Several of you were kind enough to offer suggestions including the use of simple cane polls. I want to thank you all, I followed your advice and have created a rabid fisherwoman in my 5 year old grand daughter. She caught two "hand sized" brim of our pier and now conciderers herself "the best fisherman in the world". The expression of pure joy on both their faces was worth a million bucks!!!!!
