Bill

It's not about being miserable. I could really care less about you being upset with my post to this forum. This is a free country. If you don't like what I'm saying, go read a magazine, cut your brush, or just sit down and relax. If you are happy with 16 foot fluctuations in water every year - Great! Please also notice that I am refraining from using any cute words to describe you.

There are issues that need to be addressed and in my opinion, 16 foot fluctuation's in water level is unacceptable when there is a fix. If APC were building Gorgas today, Cooling Towers would be part of the design criteria.

I am not aware of SLISA's current position. If you say that they have shut down their office, that is news to me.

SLISA was successful in bringing the issue of water level fluctuations to the attention of many Smith Lake residents. For the first time, APC publicly admitted that Gorgas could not operate without the cooler waters from Smith Lake. So, all is not lost.

I am also unaware of a decision by FERC to issue a permit to APC. If this has happened, would someone please direct me to the location so I can read the ruling.
