Ben Nelson joins Mary Landreau of Louisiana in demonstrating that Washington, DC has officially joined Nevada in having legalized prostitution. While proclaiming his vote was "not for sale", he sold it for $100M per year ($1.2B over the next ten years) so that the state of Nebraska doesn't have to pay one penny more for additional Medicare costs. I guess its fair that the rest of us not only pay more for our additional Medicare costs in our home states but we also pay for Nebraska.
I know, I am going to be inundated with all the excuses that everyone does it....all politicians are corrupt, etc. Well in this case it is obvious that the Republicans, even the RINO's that can often be counted on to support Dem legislation, were unanimous in their opposition to this monstrosity. So don't tell me that they are all the same. Dems own this lock, stock and barrel.
Oh, and by the way, the Messiah is lying about this bill over and over. He is demonstrating exactly how stupid he thinks the American public is in believing this will reduce the deficit, lower health care costs and improve service. But then again they did vote for him so I can't blame him for holding them in contempt. If anyone on this forum thinks he is not lying I await a factual basis for that belief.
