Hound, he does a large amount of charity work and raises millions of dollars each year for I think lymphoma or some other disease. He also raises money for some military organization that provide college funding for children of soldiers KIA. And finally, he probably participates in 10 to 15 charity golf events every year and makes speeches at charity fundraisers. While I would not necessarily call him a humanitarian (which in my view is someone that devotes most or all of their time and much of their resources to worthwhile organizations) he is very generous with both his time and money. This is in keeping with what he said about Haiti, don't donate money to the US government for relief, give it to private charity. You've already donated enough to government in the form of taxes. The nonsense in the media that he urged people to not donate to private charity was just that, nonsense.
