GF, you absolutely do not understand why this issue is so important to us and it is truly maddening. I don't have a clue how this is going to specifically impact my business and my ability to buy health insurance because it is 3,000 pages of incomprehensible garbage written by lobbyists, staffers and SIEU thugs. One thing I know for certain - SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS LIKE ME WILL BE PAYING MUCH MORE IN TAXES. I've already been told that my my CPA, my auditor and CFP. That is money that the government takes away from my business which means lost jobs. I am not going to repeat this education because I have done it numerous times and if you don't get that you never will.
What I believe will also happen, based on the historical record, is that health care costs will rise dramatically (see above), insurance companies will be forced by the government to leave the business (see above) and we will eventually have single payer. Then you will have cost control, rationing, most of your doctors will be from the third world - see Canada, England, etc., etc., etc. What makes the left invincibly ignorant is their amazing ability to look at obvious historical fact about the awful results of socialized medicine all over the world and assume we will somehow be different. So far you haven't said one word in defense of the debacle in Massachusetts but have simply gone off on nonsensical tangents. You ask what it means to me and yet you haven't even tried to explain how ObamaCare is going to be different than RomneyCare (there...I said it again just to make you happy). I wish you luck because it is a parallel program...even the administration has said that several times. Of course the government media covered up the real story about RomneyCare until after it was passed.....funny how that works isn't it? Why now? Why all of the sudden we get these horrific stories about what is going on in Massachusetts?
This is why the left cannot be trusted with power. Every generation we need to be reminded of that but a what cost this time? And I mean it, the left cannot be trusted to govern. They are simply too dangerous and too incompetent.
