Archie lacks the ability to string together a sequence of thoughts that make logical, rational sense. That's why he is a drive-by poster. He comes here rarely because he claims to be offended by our posts and our world view. He then makes some nonsensical post and when he is refuted by logic, facts, rational thought he retreats to his cave.

My observation is that most liberals, and I mean true left wing nuts, would love for the U.S. to be a dictatorship with them in charge and freedom of speech only applying to those with their point of view. It's why they so admire totalitarians like Fidel Castro of Hugo Chavez. They really believe they know what's best for the rest of us and cannot stand when we disagree and can defend our belief system.

Witness his rant about the oil spill in the gulf and then when I point out all the environmental wreckage caused by his profession he goes into hiding. Not only a hypocrite but also lacking courage to explain why his chosen profession is different. He won't because he can't. As for me, I love Archie because responding to his posts is truly like shooting fish in a barrel. I also don't miss him when he goes into hiding because as the old saying goes, don't ever argue with an idiot, they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. :-)
