Subject:   $2,000 for Flooding

After Katrina came through, New Orleans residents received $2,000 because of the flooding in the 9Th ward which was made up primarily of projects. Gucci purse sales increased and several thousands moved to new FEMA trailers - all furnished by FEMA.

Pity all those poor people in Tennessee who also suffered catastrophic losses from flooding. The Media is not standing on bridges criticizing Obama for not acting fast enough.

I also note that many of these people do not have flood insurance to cover losses to houses, contents, and automobiles. Yet, the government is not sending $2,000 to each resident and the people are not demanding assistance. No FEMA trailers are being offered.
