The value of the dollar has more impact on oil prices since we import 70% of our needs. The recent strength in the dollar is what is bringing prices down. Until europe gets fixed, we will continue to see a strong dollar. That helps keep inflation down, but kills jobs that export goods.

Just heard Hillary defending higher tax rates as a % of GDP as good for the economy. She used Brazil as the model of having the highest rates and their economy is booming. She fails to mention that Brazil collapsed and is now recovering ... same for Argentina.
