I would probably vote to let her go for a couple of reasons. First, while I am glad that she is no longer involved in a truly dreadful industry her presence in a school would be an incredible distraction and would definitely interfere with her ability to do her job. Second, with all the problems of teacher's getting sexually involved with students why should the school board and school open themselves up to the potential for litigation should she get involved with a student. I am not saying she would, but if she did and they knew about her past they would be exposing themselves to significant liability. I can just imagine the plaintiff's lawyer making hay with that one. Right or wrong that's the reality we live in today.

Sadly, despite her apparent mending of her ways she has to accept the consequences of her past decisions. Being in a school environment is just not compatible with her past. I hope she can find another career which would not be so at odds with the decisions she made when she was younger.
