Jobless claims have been up for the past 3 weeks ... now again close to 500,000 new claims a week.

On top of that, home prices feel another 4.9% last month and another wave of foreclosures are expected.

Thank you Obama and the Dems for focusing on another entitlement like national healthcare, rather than focusing on job creation and stablizing the housing market. In fact much of the financial legislation that they past is hurting the housing recovery rather than helping, as well as contributing to prices continuing to fall as well. The requirements they put in place for banks force lower appraisals, then even if people are willing to pay the asking price, banks can not lend the money. The resistrictions the put on condo purchases is destroying the condo market and prices. many will go under because banks can not even lend money if they want to due to the new regulations. Prices are 1/3 what they were 3 years ago and still falling since you have to have cash to buy.
