GF, you truly have a one track mind...... Medicaid could probably afford to pay for Lasik if only the truly needy were on the government dole instead of so many lazy, shiftless parasites.

But the more people suckling the government teet the more voters for the Democrat party........

Besides, why do they need Lasik? They can always move their couches closer to the TV so they can watch their latest daytime soaps and write the names of law firms that will get them the most money out of their latest car accident. The productive like me need it so I don't have to put contacts in before I fly my airplane.....such a needless hassle, don't you agree? :-)
