Bachman doesn't display the political skills necessary to endear her to the DC establishment. Not saying she doesn't possess them, just saying they are not on display. She raises the same questions, and forwards solutions that many middle Americans do. Her questions are considered out of bounds and solutions simplistic by the group of elites, elected and appointed, along with career bureaucrats whose self defined mission is central government expansion. Her advocacy of effective government keeps her at odds with the elites, and the bureaucrat wannabes, as effective government would mean change, and if there is any one thing these groups are averse and highly resistant to, it is change. Bachman is doing a good job with advancing topics needing discussion. The result is intense dislike for her among the groups being discussed. Short of her earning the nomination, don't see that I would support her candidacy, however, if nominated, 1000% and more with her. Would really like to see her play a key role in the Perry administration, peeling back the layers on any domestic cabinet agency, Labor, Commercre or HHS would be great, with Palin at Energy charged with sundowning it.
