While I don't blame her for her ire at least Alan Simpson participated in a bipartisan commission to propose potential solutions to the current and coming fiscal train wreck. While I didn't agree with everything they proposed it was at least a try.......sadly TOTUS has totally shelved their ideas in favor of irresponsible spending.

And I would point out once again that SS and Medicare are indeed entitlement programs as that term is defined. However, they are straight line budget items in that there are taxes being withheld but they are woefully underfunded and headed toward bankruptcy.
