And we will all be worse off over it. As much as I admire the conservatives in the Senate and House and all the talk about defunding Obamacare, it will not happen. First of all, they do not have enough support from squishy Republicans afraid of the inevitable bad press from a govt shutdown (and it will be bad and the govt media will place 100% of the blame on the GOP, that's a given). We have already seen that Obama is willing to violate federal law (as he has done on many other occasions) and can get away with it.

But here's the sad reality. Come January 1st the federal government will begin doling out billions of dollars in subsidies to Americans and once that happens the law becomes an entitlement (if it isn't already) and like the others will be become political radioactive waste that no one will want to touch. And don't think these subsidies will just go to the usual suspects......a family of four making $88,000 per year may be eligible. And if they are they will take the money because costs are going up so rapidly and will continue to escalate even more with greater govt influence making the subsidy all the more needed.

And you can be sure there is already in place a coordinated media operation to highlight all the people who got the chemotherapy or the operation they needed because of the subsidy. The govt media already has their marching orders and I can assure you within a week or two the stories will be coming out and by late summer it will be a torrent and the voters will line up at the trough to vote for anyone that promises to keep the cash flowing.

The battle against Obamacare was lost in 2012 when the GOP didn't win the Senate or the White House. Blame whoever you want but the fact is that had the 5 million more Americans that voted for McCain in 2008 voted for Romney the outcome would have been different. But they didn't vote and we will now reap what we have sown. And by the time the voter realizes how bad that crack (nationalized health care) is for them they will already be addicted to the subsidies. Finis!
