After going out of his way to kiss TOTUS' butt, I am sure Christie thought the Feds and the gov't media actually, really, truly loved him and he was somehow different than other RINOs like McCain. Now that they no longer need him to advance their false god they are turning on him like the Democrat operative junkyard dogs that they are. This is just dripping with delicious irony for those of us that know the essential character of the govt and their sycophantic lap dogs in the media.
But more puzzling to me is why they fear Christie so much. He is just another flaccid RINO like Dole, McCain, Romney, GHWB and he will lose to the next version of Santa Claus that the left gives us. What they and the GOP establishment don't seem to understand, and probably never will, is that the electorate is not going to take half a loaf with some squishy RINO when they can have the full monte with a big government liberal. The GOP's only hope is to nominate a truly conservative candidate that can effectively argue for those principals that actually work and improve the lives of Americans. Offering them a softer version of big government, i.e. "effective government" (an oxymoron) is a sure loser. Just ask Dole, McCain, GHWB and Romney......
