We shall see but I am skeptical. The next shooting will test your theory but if it fits their narrative I am pretty much convinced that it will be covered completely differently. As for the real problem, it is the culture of death that is driving these shootings.
And I agree completely about the courage of the young man that was killed saving others. There is a reason we should pray not to undergo the test. We all like to think we would act likewise in a similar situation but you never know until that moment comes. And the instinct for survival is incredibly powerful. Amazing to me every time someone in a situation like this is able to overcome that urge.
