Apparently Durham has a lot more info than the IG who is limited to investigating current DOJ employees. So we know from the IG report that there were misdeeds but the investigation was warranted. Durham apparently disagreed and let the IG know that a month ago when they saw the prelim report. Here is the press release from Durham.
