Never has been despite the panic porn in the media. Of all the deaths the average age was 78 with an average of 2.6 co-morbidities. Those of the people we should have been protecting and leave the rest of us to live our lives and do what we think is reasonable to protect those that are at risk.
While I haven't been tested I suspect I had it back in February. Don't recall the loss of taste or smell but I wasn't looking for it. But I did have a mild dry cough and some congestion for several days. No fever but I had pneumonia and didn't have a fever so that's not a particularly good sign for me for some reason.
The response to this pandemic has been driven by politics and not science.
