Not a hang up......just pointing out that he was not a senior administration or high ranking official as he was falsely billed as in the article. 

But what's your hang up with the fact that he's a Republican?  You think the deep state is only Democrats?  Look at the Lincoln project grifters scamming TDS sufferers for tens of millions and laughing all the way to the bank.  They are all part of the resistance and former deep state actors that are so-called Republicans.  Now I will admit the deep state is 99.9% Democrats but that's just a function of the kind of people that like to suckle at the Federal govt teet.  But that 0.1% is around 2,000 Fed govt employees.....of which this loser is one of them.  Interestingly, he is also a cnnBS contributor which is pretty much not a remote surprise.
