Goofy, I looked it up and Wendy's was holding a promotion then to compete with McDonalds who had temporarily dropped their prices to give customers a break from inflation.  Comparing a special promotion to the regular price and calling it inflation is either ignorance or economic illiteracy....probably both.  I looked it up and the increase in Frosty's in the last year is in line with 3% annual inflation along with some operational costs and innovation costs that Wendy's added to their product costs.  Now if you go back to 2022 when Biden was in office a medium Frosty price increased 25% from 2020 and the 2022 version was smaller (shrinkflation).  By the way, you can still get a similar Frosty's promotion deal during certain times of the year.

But only someone with TDS would respond with such a silly anecdote in response to positive economic news.  Let me guess, next you will come up with the fake friends like Chuckie Schumer's Joe and Eileen Baily that have seen prices go up massively since Trump was elected and how they regret voting for him and know they are cooking the economic numbers book, right?
