God you are so dumb. The economy has not tanked ... it is going through a slow down after the longest expansion EVER. Remember Clinton left office with the economy in a REAL recession (not a slow down like we have now). Then 9/11 hit. The fiscal policies of the republicans pulled us out of that and created the biggest economic expansion since Regan. The economy was decent under Clinton, but how quickly you liberals forget that he left office with the economy in a recession.

You you ever took economics in school ... economies do not just go up. The question is on overall policies as to how long the expansion lasts and when it slows do we go in to a recession.

There is a lot of debate about the Iraq war. But had Clinton done his job, rather than turn his cheek, when we had previous terrorist attacks then 9/11 may not have happened. The intellegence on Iraq was the same intelligence Clinton had. There is no doubt he violated the resolution on inspections and refused to comply. He tourtured his people and there was clear proof he was working with terrorists and attempting to aquire weapons of mass destruction.

We can debate, agree or disagree, but the facts are that we freed the people, and having a democracy in the middle east is a good thing. The terrorist wanted it to fail and that is why they came in to Iraq. But we fought them on soil other than ours and that is a good thing.

All I know is because of the actions we have taken as a country, we have not had any further attacks (Thank God) and you still have the freedom to share your liberal views on this board and probably other places due to the sacrafices of our armed forces.

When you get up every day you should be thanking God for that freedom that other protect for you rather than second quesstion and being critical. Because if you really believe things are that bad, you should try living somewhere where your don't have the freedom you enjoy.
