Interesting video from Glenn Beck. Haven't had the opportunity to really think about this as monetary policy is the most arcane aspect of our economy and something I really struggle separating fact from fiction. What I don't get is whether this is an accurate representation of what really happened. It seems to me that considering our deficit spending over the last 50 years since the great society it would have increased the money supply more than he shows but maybe its a scale thing.

I am always skeptical of what I hear from media types that frequently get things wrong, or at least half right, in areas where I have real expertise. Any other thoughts?
