Weekly jobless claims "jumped" again to a whopping 571,000 this week. Way higher than expected.

Another sad week for those unemployed, another sad week for america. But Obama continues his agenda and I hear he has another multi-million dollar date this weekend at the tax payers expense.

While I do feel the economy has stabilized, it was due to monetary policy and not the "stimulus". Job losses are continuing at a much higher rate than they should be at this stage of the cycle simply because of wrong policy decisions to get people back to work and get the economy moving again.

As many of us said when the stimulus was approved, it would do little to get the economy moving or people back to work. Government programs and spending are not economic stimulus. Tax cuts to free enterprise and individuals creates real stimulus and gets businesses hiring workers.
