and time will tell. But the last time Cheney took them to task they had to back off.

How a witch hunt against CIA agents will help our national security totally eludes me. All it will do is create a chilling effect on their personnel when they realize that despite: 1) doing what they were told, 2) being provided a legal opinion from the AG that what they were doing was legal and 3) having benn exonerated by a separate legal review they are being subjected to a politically motivated witch hunt. You cannot convince me, and I think you are too smart to even try, that this will make the CIA more effective at protecting us and I can make a very strong argument for the opposite conclusion.

I do find it ironic that the Obama administration is willing to take credit for any success but blame Bush for any problem. They can't have it both ways. The systems and architecture in place to hunt and kill terrorists were created by the Bush administration. That they are having success today is great news and I don't even care if Obama gets credit. What I want is for him to also be willing to take the blame for events on his watch, something he apparently is loathe to do (like any other politician). But the government media is once again AWOL and has shown their true ideology.
