-I found this to be a very interesting couple of minutes. I don't know too much about advertising, so I don't know if this is "spot on," or just a well done repub video piece. My son has an advertising degree (yes, they actually have those), and he said it was a very good discusson, but that unless the originators of these logos and icons actually tell you what they were thinking when designing them, you just have to guess. -But as I've stated in other posts, I've been a litle uneasy with teh "cult of personality" issue. This video addresses at least one aspect of that issue. Some may think it's correct, others may not. -Of course main stream media is again an issue in this clip, at least at one point: the joker poster. However, I had forgotten that Vanity Fair had done a similar, but more gruesome, one on Bush that teh media didn't seem to mind. -ANyway, I thought this clip interesting enough to waste your time. I hope you do too.
