Pelosi: Democrat Should Apologize for 'Die' Remark

WASHINGTON -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says anyone using harsh rhetoric to raise fears about health care reform should apologize and get on with writing policy _ and that includes people in her own Democratic caucus.

Pelosi was asked about Rep. Alan Grayson, a Florida Democrat who is refusing to apologize for accusing Republicans in a floor speech of believing sick Americans should "die quickly."

Pelosi noted the reprimand voted recently against Republican Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina, and the California Democrat said she believes the same goes for Grayson. Pelosi said that if anybody is going to apologize, everybody should.
