I'm no expert, but I used to keep snakes & alligators as pets (yes alligators - we were able to buy them in Florida many years ago). Most of what you will see there will be water snakes. Banded water snakes have a few different patterns because they have subspecies. Clues that will positively identify poisonous snakes are: triangular shaped head with pits in front of the eyes, vertical pupils (like a cat - non-poisonous are perfectly round), and a single row of scales all the way down to the tail (non-poisonous will have a double row from the cloaca (butt) down to the end of the tail). The only poisonous snakes you will find there are water moccasins, copperheads, rattlesnakes, and the alabama coral snake (extremely rare, but deadly - rear fanged & hard for them to inject venom).
Most poisonous snakes will have dark skin with dull patterns, and will be thick in diameter. Just about any snake will try its best to get out of your way, but the moccasin is territorial & will stand its ground. I didn't mean to ramble, I just don't want anybody to get bitten. I hope this helps.
