I know this is way late but I had the same thing happen last weekend. Put the seadoo on its trailer and it was high enough to get under there. All I had to do was take two 10mm bolts out for the inlet grate. From there I was able to untangle and cut rope all the way back to the impeller. Didn't need a shop but didn't know until I got under there.... You can do it!!!
