I assume your last post was intended for me. You are correct, property values will increase regardless of the marina. I stated the marina was an asset to the neighborhood. A lot of credit to increased values can be given to each new property owner that has come here and renovated, updated, etc. The marina is an asset to those who like the convenience of not having to go far for gas or to have to haul it. It's an asset to be able to have somewhere to eat close by and the entertainment. I WAS here pre-karaoke and still enjoy peace and quite time. You continually mention the same three songs that you obviously don't like. What about the elderly guy who sang a beautiful Frank Sinatra song? Or what about the very young boy who did a superb job singing "Sweet Home Alabama". If he continues he'll be a star someday! You've never mentioned hearing "God Bless the USA" or "Amazing Grace". Why not share these with the other readers? Noise ordinance is fine by me. I'll just have to be more careful when I take the radio out on the deck and you'll sure have to keep your 4000w system in storage. A noise ordinance will have to be obeyed by everyone, not just the marina. Nothing last forever, I learned that many many years ago. Just like these threads about Chuck's. I've said all I have to say on the subject and would really like to move on.
With that being said, please somebody find out where the eagles are. I'm an avid fan of those beautiful creatures and haven't seen the babies since they left the nest.
