I just moved up to the lake a couple of months ago and live there full time. I am relatively young and have just started to get involved locally. I see your point aboutlocals who do not live on the lake and their regard for people wh have the opportunity to live there.

Good points as well about weekend people who travel to the lake and live elsewhere during the week. I guess they vote where they live and not in Dadeville and local communities.

I am not your typical environmenalist but I do believe in hold governments accountable. There are two ways to skin this cat.

Lawsuits and media coverage. I am not sure what the process would be with filing a class action suit against a local government. Any lawyers out there?
