Try... letting the line go a little slack. Point your bow toward the anchor. Slowly Ease your boat to the anchor as you pull the line in and when you are just a little past it in the opposite direction of the "set" pull hard.

If that doesn't work after a couple of times at slightly different angles then let the line out and slowly go in circles around the anchor snag keeping tension on the line. If that doesn't do it then cut the line.

If a Danforth gets really hung under rocks or a stump you can't do anything.

Or you can get the scantily clad females to jump up and down on the rear of the boat until one goes over..
