Several of you had emailed me regarding my posts of a few weeks ago pertaining to the desecrated cemetaries and the buried dumpsites in the Kowaliga Bay/Hwy 63 area. I do not check that email account often, but I did today, and several of you have responses.

I have been GPSing the exact locations, and will post them soon. The dumpsites in the Willow Point and Trillium areas are particularly concerning, and some are very large and still very active.

To the person with the farm near the site of the old creosote plant, your emails are particularly disturbing, though not surprising. I will be in contact soon as I would like to investigate your property, and learn the history of ownership. While I have tremendous respect for the Auburn assessment of the animal deaths on your property, I strongly suspect the contaminents were more likely from the water table, as opposed to the airborne delivery they suggest. Either would not surprise me, but the cresote deteriorants would be more easily dispursed by water flow rather than air.

The cemetary on West Youngs Ferry off Wicker Point remains as demolished as the day it occurred last Spring. One family's ancestral gravesite was completely obliterated, and I have been in contact to notify them and possibly place a new headstone, as the original one (from 1853) was shattered beyond repair. At least 2 vaults collapsed under the weight of the skidders rolling above them.

The 6th Calvary of the Confederate Army had 2 soldiers buried their. Both headstones were knocked down and broken, but may be repairable.

Again, I will post coordinates sometime soon, but I have more research to do before I am comfortable and certain in posting that information.
