From what I read last month in one of the Lake magazines he is spending all his time now recovering the heart pine from the lake bottom. One thing is for sure, IF it is ever raised is it going to cause some major silt issues downstream. But they are managing to get the heart pine up without causing major problems. But the B-52 is larger and hollow. I am with you on watching though. I saw a TV special about one that was raised from a lake up north. It came out almost intact and was donated to a flight museum here in Alabama. Dang if I can remeber where though. Selma, Huntsville maybe? Apparently we have an aviation buff or two here, maybe they would know.

As for the UFO, it DID NOT CRASH!! It LANDS and goes to the Alien base they have constructed between Goat Island and the dam.
