Being a new home owner on Lake Martin and a new boat owner . . . Why can't the developers develop their "multi-million dollar" projects on a lake if there are big boats or houseboats? I still don't get the correlation.

The article you mention says "...the legislation was sparked by Georgia resort developers wanting assurances that houseboats would be banned ..."

Can anyone shed some light on this poor mans mind on how one affects the other? (Again . . . Stillwaters was and is a successful project and they didn't push legislation to ban big fast boats).
